JoJo: Golden Spirit — Straizo (R) Guide

Straizo is a confirmed R unit from Part 2 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and what to expect at launch.
⚠️ Pre-launch note: Straizo’s exact skills, stats and star-up path aren’t public until the August 13 launch. This page covers the confirmed facts (rarity, Part, style) and his source material — we add the full kit on day one.
Who is Straizo?
Straizo enters the story in Part 2: Battle Tendency as a respected elder of the Ripple lineage. A disciple of the same tradition that trained the Joestars, he spent his life as a guardian of Hamon — until the fear of ageing and death gnawed the ideals out of him. When we meet him again he has already chosen a darker path.
Fighting style: Hamon
Straizo is a veteran Hamon master, and that mastery is exactly what makes his fall so dangerous. Craving eternal youth, he abandons the Ripple’s purpose and turns himself into a vampire, fusing his lifelong control of Hamon with a monster’s body. Against Joseph Joestar he unleashes that combination in a desperate, ferocious duel — a teacher’s technique wielded by something that no longer wants to be human.
Straizo in Golden Spirit
- Rarity: R
- Part: 2 (Battle Tendency)
- Fighting style: not yet revealed
- Kit & stats: pending — confirmed at the August 13 launch
Part 2 is a Hamon-era story, so expect Straizo’s abilities to draw on the Ripple and his vampiric power rather than a Stand once the roster’s fighting styles are locked in. We’ll confirm his real kit as soon as it’s public.
Is Straizo worth using?
As an R unit, Straizo is one of the common, entry-level pulls you’ll accumulate naturally rather than a reroll priority. His flavour is strong, though, and an early body on your bench is never wasted while you assemble a real team. Point your rerolls at rarer names via the reroll guide, and compare him on the tier list.
