Rudol von Stroheim is a confirmed SR unit from Part 2 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and whether they’re worth chasing at launch.
⚠️ Not verified yet: we have not checked Rudol von Stroheim’s exact skills, stats or star-up path against the live game. This page covers what is confirmed — rarity, Part and fighting style — together with the source material. The full kit lands here once we can take it from the game itself rather than from a pre-release listing.
Who is Rudol von Stroheim?
Stroheim is a loud, swaggering German officer introduced in Part 2: Battle Tendency. After the Pillar Man Santana nearly tears him apart, he is rebuilt as a cyborg and returns to the fight more dangerous than before. His pride is his catchphrase — “German science is the best in the world!” — and it’s not entirely bluster.
Fighting style: Cyborg body
Unlike most of his era, Stroheim wields neither Hamon nor a Stand. His edge is mechanical: a reconstructed body packed with hidden weapons, from concealed guns to retractable blades and even an ultraviolet lamp built for burning Pillar Men. He is a walking arsenal, trading breathing techniques for firepower and armour plating.
Rudol von Stroheim in Golden Spirit
- Rarity: SR
- Part: 2 (Battle Tendency)
- Fighting style: not yet revealed
- Kit & stats: not verified yet — we are measuring these in game (checked August 13, 2026)
Because his kit is machine-based rather than Ripple-based, it’s interesting to see where he lands once fighting styles are set for a balanced team. We’ll confirm his actual skills the moment they’re public.
Should you reroll for Rudol von Stroheim?
A gadget-heavy SR can bring something different to an early roster, but Golden Spirit rewards a balanced team over any single unit, so don’t over-invest in one soldier. If Stroheim’s your favourite, see the reroll guide and the tier list.
