JoJo: Golden Spirit — Santviento (SR) Guide

Santviento is a confirmed SR unit from Part 2 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and whether they’re worth chasing at launch.
⚠️ Pre-launch note: Santviento’s exact skills, stats and star-up path aren’t public until the August 13 launch. This page covers the confirmed facts (rarity, Part, style) and his source material — we add the full kit on day one.
Who is Santviento?
Santviento is the first Pillar Man to awaken in Part 2: Battle Tendency, an ancient superhuman being roused after millennia of stone slumber. He is less a person than a force of nature — coldly hostile to humanity and utterly convinced of his own supremacy. His awakening sets the entire arc’s threat in motion.
Fighting style: Pillar Man
As a Pillar Man, Santviento is a predator on another level. He can absorb living creatures into his body to heal and grow, and he adapts on the fly to whatever is thrown at him. His flesh is immensely strong and durable, but he is not unkillable: sunlight and Hamon are the weapons that can actually bring him down.

An adaptive absorber like Santviento is an intriguing wild card once fighting styles are finalised for a balanced team. We’ll confirm his actual skills the moment they’re public.
Should you reroll for Santviento?
A durable, self-healing SR antagonist can be a fun anchor, but Golden Spirit rewards a balanced team over any single unit, so build around him rather than chasing him alone. If he’s your pick, see the reroll guide and the tier list.
