Squalo is a confirmed R unit from Part 5 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and what to expect at launch.

⚠️ Not verified yet: we have not checked Squalo’s exact skills, stats or star-up path against the live game. This page covers what is confirmed — rarity, Part and fighting style — together with the source material. The full kit lands here once we can take it from the game itself rather than from a pre-release listing.

Who is Squalo?

Squalo is an assassin of La Squadra Esecuzioni in Part 5: Golden Wind, and he rarely operates alone. He fights as one half of a duo with his devoted partner Tiziano, the two coordinating so closely that their abilities feel like a single unit. That partnership is central to who Squalo is — a hunter who thrives on setups and ambushes rather than a straight brawl.

Stand: Clash

Squalo wields Clash, a Stand in the form of a shark that can swim through any body of liquid at all. It doesn’t need open water: a roadside puddle, a full glass, even a mouthful of saliva is enough of a “sea” for it to lurk in and strike from within. The threat is positional — anywhere there’s moisture nearby, Clash can surface and bite, turning ordinary surroundings into an ambush.

Squalo in Golden Spirit

  • Rarity: R
  • Part: 5 (Golden Wind)
  • Fighting style: not yet revealed
  • Kit & stats: not verified yet — we are measuring these in game (checked August 13, 2026)

The developers haven’t attached a fighting style to Squalo yet, so any team planning is premature; the fighting styles guide is the place to check once his role is announced.

Is Squalo worth using?

Squalo is an R, which makes him a common, entry-level pull rather than a reroll target. There’s no need to farm for him, but he’s a reasonable early pick to round out your bench while you chase stronger units — start with the reroll guide, then compare his placement on the tier list.
