Prosciutto is a confirmed SSR unit from Part 5 in JoJo: Golden Spirit, and one of only three characters with a confirmed weather interaction. Here’s who he is and whether he’s worth chasing at launch.
⚠️ Not verified yet: we have not checked Prosciutto’s exact skills, stats or star-up path against the live game. This page covers what is confirmed — rarity, Part and fighting style — together with the source material. The full kit lands here once we can take it from the game itself rather than from a pre-release listing.
Who is Prosciutto?
Prosciutto is a member of La Squadra Esecuzioni, the hitman team that operates within the Passione syndicate in Part 5: Golden Wind. He is the composed professional of the group — coolly methodical where his younger partner is impulsive — and lives by a chilling creed: once an assassin has decided to kill you, you are already as good as dead. That certainty, rather than rage, is what makes him dangerous.
Stand: The Grateful Dead
Prosciutto wields The Grateful Dead, a Stand that spreads accelerated aging across an area like a contagious disease. Anyone caught in its range visibly withers as their years pile on in moments, and the effect grows stronger with heat — so Prosciutto manipulates temperature to speed the decay and single out targets who can resist the cold. It is an area weapon built to wear a whole group down at once rather than strike one foe.
Prosciutto in Golden Spirit
- Rarity: SSR
- Part: 5 (Golden Wind)
- Fighting style: not published (no character-to-style mapping exists yet)
- Weather interaction: aging is suppressed during blizzards, and performs better in extremely hot environments
- Kit & stats: not verified yet — we are measuring these in game (checked August 13, 2026)
That weather line is the most concrete thing known about how Prosciutto plays, and it is a direct port of his manga logic: The Grateful Dead’s aging accelerates with heat. It also makes him the clearest example of why the weather system is not cosmetic — the same unit is worth more or less depending on the battlefield you land on.
Should you reroll for Prosciutto?
An SSR is a solid pick for an opening roster, but Golden Spirit rewards a balanced team over any single character, and no unit’s style is confirmed yet. If Prosciutto appeals to you, a light reroll is reasonable — see the reroll guide and check the confirmed roster on the tier list.
