Shigekiyo Yangu is a confirmed R unit from Part 4 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and what to expect at launch.

⚠️ Pre-launch note: Shigekiyo Yangu’s exact skills, stats and star-up path aren’t public until the August 13 launch. This page covers the confirmed facts (rarity, Part, style) and his source material — we add the full kit on day one.

Who is Shigekiyo Yangu?

Shigekiyo Yangu — everyone just calls him Shigechi — is a schoolboy caught up in the events of Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable. He’s earnest and good-hearted at his core, even if a stubborn streak and a love of easy money sometimes get the better of him. He ends up an unlikely ally to the heroes of Morioh.

Stand: Harvest

Shigechi’s Stand, Harvest, isn’t one figure but a swarm of roughly five hundred tiny bodies, each barely bigger than an insect. On command they fan out across a huge area to collect whatever he’s after — loose coins, dropped cash, even scattered particles of a substance — and bring it all back. That same swarm can just as easily distribute something outward, blanketing a wide zone with poison in a single sweep.

  • Rarity: R
  • Part: 4 (Diamond is Unbreakable)
  • Fighting style: not yet revealed
  • Kit & stats: pending — confirmed at the August 13 launch

A wide-coverage swarm like Harvest could hint at area effects or resource-style utility once the roster’s fighting styles are finalised, but nothing’s locked yet. We’ll add his real kit the moment it’s confirmed.

Is Shigekiyo Yangu worth using?

Shigechi is an R unit — one of the common, entry-level pulls you’ll gather just by playing, not a reroll target. His area-focused flavour can make him a handy early slot while your roster fills out, but the heavy lifting later goes to rarer units. Use the reroll guide to plan pulls and the tier list to see where he ranks.
