Who is Koichi Hirose?
Koichi begins Diamond is Unbreakable as an ordinary, rather timid schoolboy — the kind of character you’d never expect to headline a fight. Over the course of Morioh’s strange summer, though, he grows into one of the bravest heroes in the series, standing his ground against enemies far stronger than himself. He becomes the story’s moral heart, the everyman whose courage and decency anchor the cast.
Stand: Echoes
Koichi’s Stand, Echoes, is famous for evolving through three distinct forms. ACT1 attaches sound effects to a target; ACT2 makes written sound effects physically real, turning words into fire, weight, or heat; and ACT3 is a small figure that stamps a target with “3 Freeze,” piling on crushing gravity. That growth from fragile to formidable mirrors Koichi’s own arc perfectly.
