Who is Akira Otoishi?
Akira is a swaggering guitarist and thief in Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable. Loud, arrogant and endlessly pleased with himself, he plays the rockstar villain to the hilt — a showman who treats a fight like a stage. Beneath the posturing he’s a genuinely dangerous opponent, one of Morioh’s early threats and no simple pushover.
Stand: Red Hot Chili Pepper
Akira wields Red Hot Chili Pepper, a Stand that runs on electricity. It moves freely through wires, outlets and the power grid, meaning it can surface from almost any electrical source in a city. Crucially, it grows stronger the more current it absorbs, so near a fat power line it becomes a serious heavyweight — able to strike from an outlet you never thought to watch and recharge itself mid-battle.
