Hol Horse is a confirmed SR unit from Part 3 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and whether they’re worth chasing at launch.
⚠️ Not verified yet: we have not checked Hol Horse’s exact skills, stats or star-up path against the live game. This page covers what is confirmed — rarity, Part and fighting style — together with the source material. The full kit lands here once we can take it from the game itself rather than from a pre-release listing.
Who is Hol Horse?
Hol Horse is a smooth-talking American mercenary hired by DIO to stop the Crusaders in Part 3: Stardust Crusaders. He’s less a warrior than an opportunist — charming, boastful and happy to run away from a bad matchup. His personal motto is that he’s better as the “number two” who works alongside a partner than as the man leading the charge, and much of his threat comes from pairing his weapon with someone else’s Stand.
Stand: Emperor
Hol Horse’s Stand, Emperor, takes the form of a handgun he can summon into his hand at will. What makes it dangerous isn’t the draw but the aim: the bullets it fires are themselves part of the Stand, so he can steer them in mid-air — curving shots around cover, doubling them back, and chasing a moving target that thinks it has broken line of sight. A careful, cowardly shooter with guided ammunition is a genuinely awkward opponent even for stronger Stands.

A ranged, tricky attacker like Hol Horse could slot into several of the fighting styles, so it’s worth seeing his official listing before you commit resources to him. We’ll confirm his actual skills the moment they’re public.
Should you reroll for Hol Horse?
An SR villain is a solid supporting pull rather than a must-have carry, and Golden Spirit rewards a balanced team over any single unit. If you enjoy Hol Horse, treat him as a bonus on a broader roll — see the reroll guide and check his placement on the tier list.
