JoJo: Golden Spirit — Gwess (R) Guide

Gwess is a confirmed R unit from Part 6 in JoJo: Golden Spirit (fighting style not yet revealed). Here’s who they are and what to expect at launch.
⚠️ Pre-launch note: Gwess’s exact skills, stats and star-up path aren’t public until the August 13 launch. This page covers the confirmed facts (rarity, Part, style) and her source material — we add the full kit on day one.
Who is Gwess?
Gwess is a petty, territorial inmate of Green Dolphin Street Prison in Part 6: Stone Ocean, and she’s the very first cellmate Jolyne Cujoh is saddled with. Possessive and quick to push newcomers around, she treats the cell block as her turf, using her Stand to keep the balance of power tilted in her favour.
Stand: Goo Goo Dolls
Gwess wields Goo Goo Dolls, a Stand that shrinks living things down to a tiny size. Inside the prison that makes it a tool of control and smuggling — she can shrink people or creatures to hide contraband, move things past the guards, or simply put a rival where they can’t fight back. It’s less a combat powerhouse than a sly, situational ability built for the schemes of prison life.

Is Gwess worth using?
As an R, Gwess is a common, entry-level pull rather than a reroll target, so don’t burn resets trying to land her. She’s a serviceable early addition while your roster is thin and you save toward stronger units — see the reroll guide for priorities, and the tier list for her confirmed placement.
